Get Excited for DC Comic’s “Black Adam” featuring The Rock
The next DC Comics film “Black Adam” is a new action film coming to theaters and bringing the heat. Starring the beloved actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as “Black Adam”, he has been dropping fun content teasers.

Black Adam was Egypt’s greatest champion until he was corrupted by Blaze and hero in the early days of the DCU. The tale of Black Adam is almost biblical in scope as he rises a champion and falls a corrupted soul that murders the family of a boy destined to be a hero. The character is generally good, however, note he was created by Otto Binder and C. C. Beck and first appeared in Fawcett Comics as an enemy of the Marvel Family. An antihero from Kahndaq who was imprisoned for 5,000 years, he is at last freed and that is where we meet him in the upcoming film.
In addition to The Rock, “Black Adam” also stars Viola Davis and Sarah Shahi. The screenplay was written by Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines, and Sohrab, along with Director Jaume Collet-Serra.
This will be The Rock’s first time in full DC Comics film. He was in a “Black Adam Precursor” teaser that was released in 2020 which was only a short prequel. The actor is admired for his tough persona, buff arms, charm, and humor. The big release date is October 21.
