Carly Rae Jepsen Announces New Album ‘The Loveliest Time’
On Thursday (July 7), Carly Rae Jepsen shared her forthcoming project, The Loveliest Time, which is a continuation of her 2022 studio album, The Loneliest Time.
In her caption of a photo of herself looking out a window to a dark night sky, Jepsen remarked, “I’ve grown to understand loneliness, and marvel at its beauty. Experiencing the loneliest time showed me how personal growth is made possible through times of darkness. However, now that the world has been restored and we have opened ourselves back up again, it’s time to take what we’ve learned and move forward in joy. The Loveliest Time…”
Jepsen informed her fans that the highly-anticipated b-sides, now referred to as The Loveliest Time, would be released in a month. She added that the project was far more than merely a compilation of leftover ideas, having been crafted to explore the many facets of love, loneliness, and her own identity.
The artist’s post didn’t include a definite release date, though her last project, The Loneliest Time, arrived on October 5th, reaching No. 19 on the Billboard 200 and making it her fourth top 40 album.
