Jason Oppenheim & 25 Year Old Girlfriend Split After 10 Months of Dating
by Monet Anais
Another one bites the dust. Could it be that Jason Oppenheim, real estate broker and the head of the Oppenheim Group, is the Leonardo DiCaprio of Selling Sunset’s real estate industry? It is yet to be seen. Recently, Jason and his girlfriend, Marie Lou Nurk, who had been together for 10 months, have split. The separation was portrayed as peaceful and cordial.
It must be noted that Marie is only the latest in Jason’s string of girlfriends, and quite notably, three of his former relationships still work in the Oppenheim Group and are part of the cast of Selling Sunset. His most widely known relationship was with an employee of his firm, Chrishell Stause, but their relationship ended because he was not willing to take the next step. Even after the split, he threw an engagement party for Chrishell and her current partner G Flip.
Regarding his recent split from Marie, Jason claimed on Instagram that it was because of the distance between them. Marie, however, suggested on an Instagram Q&A that they had been handling the distance without any problems. Moreover, Jason and Marie had recently bought a condo together and he even confessed that he had thought they would be living there for many years. Nevertheless, she clarified that her intention had always been to return to France. These contradicting messages certainly complicate matters.
In the eyes of some online viewers, the large age gap between Jason and Marie and the difference in their stature are the causes for their split. Nonetheless, distance might be the actual culprit. Jason had not made any attempts to modify his life for Chrishell, and maybe he was not willing to do the same for Marie. After all, he has a well-established life in Los Angeles and is in no hurry to uproot himself. Who knows?
Selling Sunset’s sixth season can be viewed on Netflix and all of the members of the show are either married, expecting a baby, or embroiled in a dispute. Get ready for Season 7!
