Manhattan Grand Jury Indicts Former President Donald Trump

Donald Trump has been formally accused by a Manhattan grand jury on more than thirty counts of business-related fraud – marking the first time a current or former American president has been subjected to criminal proceedings. The indictment, however, remains confidential.
This past week, it was confirmed that former President Trump will face a legal indictment due to the hush money payment that was given to Stormy Daniels during his 2016 presidential campaign. District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office has informed Trump’s counsel to schedule his court hearing, where he will appear and enter a plea of ‘not guilty’.
Trump’s lawyer Joe Tacopina further added that while the former president would not be handcuffed, he would likely need to undergo a process that includes being fingerprinted when attending his trial next Tuesday. Susan Necheles, another Trump attorney, will also represent him in court.
