Scoota’s Luxury Empire: From Renting Cars to Future and Quavo to Building a Music Dynasty

While some flip houses, a young Miami creative is renting out exotic cars, producing fresh fusion beats, and rubbing shoulders with A-List names.

The 27-year-old is the creative director and co-founder of the budding music label 1331 Recordz.

Scoota said that his career spinning high-energy beats is moving as fast as some of his rapper-approved sporty rides.

“I met Future, G Herbo, G Herbo’s twin brother, Hot Boy, Rich the Kid, Spot Em Got Em, Quavo, [and] Takeoff,” Scoota said in a statement, to name a few celebrities he crossed paths with in the exotic car industry.

Scoota’s work isn’t always cruising into the sunset, however, revealing that he once had to repossess a car from a well-known rapper due to nonpayment.

“[The rapper] didn’t pay [the invoice], so I had to go take [the car] back from him,” Scoota revealed. “That was a funny night.”

Now he’s switching gears—literally—taking on music and bringing on the beats with 1331 Recordz.

It all started with a wild weekend at EDC Orlando in 2023.

“My best friend bought me a ticket—it was my first festival, my first concert ever,” Scoota said. “It exposed me to sounds, music, vibes, production, and most importantly, the people.

“I got back home and became a DJ.”

His sounds combine elements of hip-hop, Caribbean, and even house music.

But it wasn’t a random whim—DJing was already in Scoota’s blood.

“I actually started with producing back in high school,” he said. “I just decided to focus on that first.”

Scoota’s style is a wild mix of flavors, curated to a tee, letting “trial and error” be his guide.

“I dib and dab with everything. So when it comes to mixing, I implement that,” the DJ said.

The DJ is so serious about keeping his sounds unique from the rest and trusting his gut.

“It’s crazy, I don’t really care what the crowd wants me to play,” he admitted. “I curate my sounds based on how I feel. How does the crowd make me feel? I think about where the world is currently and play things that resonate with the people.”

Scoota’s sense of fashion is also a source of self expression—and he’s not afraid to share contentious viewpoints.

His politically-charged clothing line includes a hoodie with “F**k ICE” printed across the front—a heavy sentiment in a city with a sizeable immigrant population.

“I create things that resonate with people,” Scoota said of his outspoken and often provocative fashion.

Controversial or not, the creative’s values surrounding entrepreneurship, music, and fashion remain unwavering.

“Most people don’t tell you that you can be yourself and still grow,” Scoota said. “But if you believe in what you do—and surround yourself with the right people—anything is possible.”

Scoota’s music is currently streaming on Sound Cloud.
