Who can you trust? ‘Amsterdam’ Movie in Theaters October 7th
We all love a good movie inspired by a true story, and this Friday October 7th you are in for a treat with Amsterdam coming to theaters.
The film is set in the 1930s when President Franklin D. Roosevelt is in office. Three friends, characters played by Margot Robbie, John David Washington, and Christian Bale witness the murder of a U.S. Senator.
The three people are framed and on the run, meanwhile uncovering one of the biggest real-life plots in American history.
“It’s based on real events that are jaw-dropping,” Bale said in a recent interview.

Acclaimed writer/director David O. Russell, also known for Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle, brings in a masterpiece of visual coordination, color and transcendence to the screen and is what makes this film unique.
Alongside Bale, Washington, and Robbie is Mike Myers, Rami Malek, Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Rock, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Michael Shannon. A special appearance by Taylor Swift may still catch you by surprise. The true story is anticipating a wild turn of events in the exciting movie especially with the featured cast.
